# Preparation Steps:
01 - In a large bowl, beat the unsalted butter and granulated sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
02 - Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until fully combined.
03 - In a separate bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
04 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing until just combined.
05 - Divide the dough in half, shape into disks, wrap tightly in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
06 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
