# Preparation Steps:
01 - In a small saucepan, combine strawberries, sugar, water, and lemon juice. Heat over medium-low heat, stirring and mashing until strawberries are soft and syrupy, approximately 3 to 4 minutes. Remove from heat, allow to cool, then blend or mash until smooth. Set aside.
02 - In a bowl, sift matcha powder through a fine mesh strainer. Add hot water and whisk vigorously using a bamboo whisk or milk frother until smooth and frothy.
03 - In a small pitcher, whisk together milk, cream, and vanilla syrup until fully combined.
04 - Divide strawberry puree equally between two large glasses. Add ice cubes to each glass. Slowly pour vanilla sweet cream over the ice. Gently pour matcha over the cream to create distinct layered effect.
05 - Garnish with sliced fresh strawberries if desired. Stir thoroughly before drinking.
